What is Microneedling?

Microneedling is a highly effective skin rejuvenation treatment designed to improve the texture, tone, and overall appearance of your skin. At Redefined Aesthetics, we use the advanced SkinPen device, a medical-grade microneedling tool that creates micro-injuries in the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production. This natural healing process results in smoother, firmer, and more youthful-looking skin.

At Redefined only the best products are used and we work alongside the award winning, only FDA approved SkinPen. SkinPen has the only cartridge which is 100% ultrasonically sealed, therefore no risk of cross contamination. Its high quality stainless steel needles create 98000 channels a minute which means any products applied during treatment will be absorbed deep into the skin.

Microneedling faqs

Microneedling creates tiny microchannels in the skin, triggering the body’s natural healing response. This increases collagen and elastin production, leading to firmer, smoother skin over time.

A numbing cream is applied before the treatment to ensure comfort. Most patients experience only mild discomfort, often described as a light scratching sensation.

Results can be seen after one session, but for optimal results, a course of 3-6 treatments, spaced 4-6 weeks apart, is usually recommended.

Minimal downtime is required. You may experience redness and slight swelling for 24-48 hours, similar to a mild sunburn. Most patients resume normal activities within a day or two.

Initial improvements may be visible within a few days, but full results develop over several weeks as collagen production increases.

Yes! Microneedling pairs well with other aesthetic treatments such as chemical peels or mesotherapy for enhanced results. Nurse Billa will tailor a treatment plan suited to your skin needs.
