What is Microsclerotherapy?

Microsclerotherapy is a highly effective treatment designed to reduce the appearance of thread veins (also known as spider veins) on the legs. It involves injecting a special sclerosing solution into the affected veins, causing them to collapse and fade over time. This minimally invasive procedure is performed by our experienced nurse, Billa.

Concerns Treated by Microsclerotherapy

Microsclerotherapy is ideal for addressing:

  • Thread veins (spider veins) on the legs
  • Broken capillaries
  • Superficial reticular veins
  • Small varicose veins (in some cases)

If you are concerned about the visibility of small, red, blue, or purple veins on your legs, this treatment can provide a significant improvement.

Microsclerotherapy faqs

Most patients require 1-3 sessions for optimal results, depending on the extent of the thread veins.

You may feel a mild stinging sensation during the injections, but most patients find the treatment very tolerable.

There is minimal downtime. You may experience some redness, mild swelling, or bruising, which usually subsides within a few days.

Treated veins do not return; however, new veins may appear over time. Maintenance treatments can help keep your legs looking clear.

It is recommended to avoid strenuous exercise for 48 hours post-treatment. Walking is encouraged to promote circulation.

Love Billa! So knowledgeable and understanding. Also the first time I’ve never had bruising after botox. Will definitely be returning and will be recommending to everyone!
