Dermaplaning

Instantly refreshed skin

At Redefined Aesthetics, based just outside of Market Harborough and led by Nurse Billa, we offer the popular Dermaplaning treatment. Dermaplaning is a physical exfoliation procedure. It requires the use of a sterile, surgical scalpel to gently “shave” the skin’s surface, removing the top-most layer of dead skin along with fine, vellus hair (aka peach fuzz).

What is Dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning is a gentle, non-invasive exfoliation treatment that removes dead skin cells and fine vellus hair (peach fuzz) from the face using a sterile surgical scalpel. This treatment instantly reveals a brighter, smoother complexion and allows for deeper product penetration, making it a favourite at Redefined Aesthetics, particularly before advanced treatments such as our Alumier MD Chemical Peels.
